🌳 New Elm Trees Planted at Kingston Showground

The trees at Kingston Showgrounds are part of its great charm. Years ago, we lost an old cypress near the Selwyn Geddes shed. The absence has been felt ever since.

With the generous support of Hepburn Shire Council, we welcomed two new elm trees to the grounds in September. Elms were chosen to complement the existing canopy and for the cool shade they offer during the warmer months.

The guards are temporary. We are designing more durable guards to be built and installed in the near future.

We look forward to watching these young trees grow into the grand presence shared by others across the site.
