AusNet Powerline EES Now on Exhibition

We've been supporting our community in challenging this project which passes 1 km to the north of Kingston and the showgrounds for over 4 years.  The Environmental Effects Statement (EES) has been published with submissions due Friday 22 August.  Kingston Agricultural Society will be making a submission.

We know the Western Renewables Link transmission line with 80 m high towers will have significant impacts in our community - homes, farms, businesses, jobs, families, heritage.

The EES is large but responses do not have to be complex.

Submissions can be as simple or a hand written.
