Morrish Pavilion Electrical Update

This week with assistance from our volunteers (thank you!) and the fine work of Daylesford Electrical Service, lighting in the pavilion has been increased from 4 to 14 high bay LED lights and extra power points have been installed. It’s a great improvement!

This latest step in our ‘pavilion journey’ has developed this 36 m x 12 m facility into a great multi-purpose venue. It is a fantastic place for our show exhibits, is available for events and provides important storage that we can relocate if needed. Back in In 2025 we hosted breakfast for 200 drivers and passengers from the Florence Thompson Tour in 2025. Back in 2020 the pavilion was the command post and catering venue for production of a surreal Furphy Beer promotion.

One more working bee and this stage will be complete.

The Morrish Pavilion Electrical Upgrade Project is supported by the Victorian Government through the Agricultural and Pastoral Society Grants 2025-26 Program.

Arrrange a visit sometime and imagine the possibilities for this great site set in our iconic grounds!
